Ronald L. McDaniels passed away June 10, 2010 with his family at his side. Ron was born in Alameda, Calif. on April 28, 1943. His family soon moved to Tujunga, Calif., where Ron graduated from Verdugo Hills High School.

He attended Biola College but found his passion was computers. He became a computer software designer from which he retired in 2002. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Jesse McDaniels and his first wife of 30 years, DeLora (Dolly) Ann.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Sue McDaniels. His children from DeLora are David (Aimee) McDaniels, Marcia (Chuy) Reyna, and Carrie (Mike) Hickey. Stepchildren include David (Linda) Dreher, Jim (Peggy) Dreher, and Nancy Dreher. Grandchildren include Mason, Parker, and Chloe McDaniels; Kirra, Emily and Sophie Reyna; and McKenzie and Rileigh Hickey. Step-grandchildren are Chris, Jesse, Katie and Melanie Dreher. He is survived by sisters Patty Crider, Colleen (Mike) Ghoslin, Penne Chaput and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Hope Hospice and all those who dedicated themselves to taking care of Ron.

Memorial service will be held on June 19 at 11 a.m. in Temecula at Christ the Vine Lutheran Church, 29581 North General Kearney Rd., Temecula, Calif. 92591.
